What is Trauma Therapy
Trauma therapy is largely centered around a trauma that someone experienced either during childhood or as an adult. Trauma can be defined as something that happened that was a threat to your life. For example, a car accident, sexual abuse, physical abuse, seeing something bad happen to someone else, or experiences while serving in the military, or as a first responder. Sometimes trauma can be growing up in a home where alcoholism was present or mental health issues. Living in an unstable environment can cause someone to feel unsafe or insecure. These situations can cause a trauma reaction in individuals. Without help, can lead to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and behavioral issues.
At the Center for Counseling Families, we use a variety of approaches to resolving these issues for our clients.
Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) is a transformational way of communicating that changes the way you look at the thoughts, and emotions that have kept you stuck in patterns of behavior. Using visualization and hypnosis, we begin to free the locked traumatic emotions, and clients are left feeling lighter, free, and calmer.
If you are experiencing:
- Panic Attacks
- Weight gain
- Substance Abuse
- Low Self Esteem
- Guilt, shame, jealousy
- Stress-related medical problems
- Behaviors affecting your day to day activities
Rapid Resolution Therapy with Clinical Hypnosis is an effective cutting edge therapy that is fast, and pain-free. Sometimes in therapy, problems are brought to the surface, and resolution does not follow. Hypnotherapy with Rapid Resolution Therapy is the next step to resolving emotional and behavioral issues. Working on the subconscious part of the mind, Rapid Resolution Therapy can pinpoint and clear the negative effects of past experiences, and clear multiple traumas. Clearing the mind helps eliminate limited beliefs freeing you to concentrate on the desired change. People feel more in control, relaxed, less preoccupied, and have a heightened sense of energy.
